Our leadership position extends even further to our new SaaS Learning Platform myACI that goes beyond audit, cyber and IT training to provide organizational and individual knowledge assessment, analytics and training delivery with integrated AI to understand capabilities and skill gaps for organizations.

The Technical Instructor II plays a vital role in designing and delivering dynamic IT training programs, with a focus on cybersecurity and other high-demand areas. This position involves not only delivering engaging instruction but also mentoring and supporting students to achieve career-relevant certifications. Instructors bring expertise in student support, certification processes, and the strategies needed for high success rates. With a deep understanding of the critical role IT training plays in today’s growing job market, the Technical Instructor II is dedicated to empowering students to reach their certification and career goals.

What you'll do:

• Deliver engaging and effective IT training sessions in various formats, including formal classroom instruction, informal support (e.g., floor-walking), and online platforms (e.g., webinars).
• Facilitate and oversee virtual lab activities to enhance practical learning.
• Conduct training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and align instruction with learner requirements.
• Define the essential skill sets required for success in certification programs.
• Perform assessments to evaluate learner performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and update training materials, including handouts, manuals, and exercises, to support student success through certification.
• Ensure the learning environment and resources meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Design course content and supplementary materials to enhance comprehension and engagement.
• Prepare and maintain training environments, including setting up IT equipment when necessary.
• Provide targeted study sessions across various settings to reinforce learning and exam preparation.
• Support and coach learners to achieve timely and successful certification exam completion.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and track learning outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with external partners, including course providers, employers, and examining bodies, to meet organizational skill requirements.
• Work collaboratively with other instructors to ensure consistency and quality in training delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and resource utilization.
• Align training programs with current trends and demands in the IT job market

What you should have (Required):

• Current CompTIA A+, Security+, Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), and Penetration Testing (PenTest+) certifications.

What we'd like you to have (Preferred):

• Current Cisco CCNA or ISC2 CISSP certification.
• Current Intro to AWS, AWS Practitioner, and CompTIA Cloud+ certifications.
• Prior mentoring experience preferred.
• Prior technical teaching experience or CTT certification.

• Demonstrated ability to convey ideas effectively in both written and verbal formats, ensuring clarity and fostering positive interactions with diverse audiences.
• Proven expertise in managing day-to-day operations, including scheduling, documentation, and resource coordination to support organizational efficiency.
• Experience in designing and delivering educational content or training programs tailored to varied learning needs and outcomes.
• Skilled in overseeing and guiding learners to achieve their objectives, maintaining engagement, and addressing challenges constructively.
• Strong track record of working collaboratively within teams or leading groups to accomplish shared goals while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Adept at interpreting complex information, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to resolve problems or optimize processes.
• Ability to create and facilitate training sessions that enhance skills development, ensure comprehension, and promote knowledge retention.
