We are seeking a Director of Revenue Operations & Systems who will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by optimizing the systems and technologies that support our revenue teams to exceed their targets. This role involves architecting, implementing, and managing martech and biztech systems while ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce and alignment with our broader business objectives. You will focus on refining processes, ensuring data integrity, and providing effective end-user support, all while enhancing system capabilities to improve sales velocity, pipeline growth, and customer retention.
In the first 12 months, you will be tasked with delivering specific outcomes, including a roadmap for systems strategy, key improvements in pipeline management, and a measurable reduction in time-to-resolution for end-user issues. You will also drive process improvements that lead to a more efficient sales cycle and improved data visibility across the organization.
What you will do:
- Architect Systems Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for revenue and marketing systems. Ensure integration and alignment across martech, biztech, and Salesforce platforms to meet business goals and revenue targets.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the Revenue Operations Manager and Marketing Operations Manager, fostering a high-performance culture that delivers measurable outcomes in pipeline growth, sales velocity, and customer retention.
- Data Integrity & Reporting: Ensure accurate and visible data across all touchpoints, providing reliable reports for leadership. Support ad-hoc reporting and manage dashboards, using tools like the Salesforce Analytics add-on to enhance insights and visualization.
- Process Improvement: Optimize system usage and refine processes to reduce the length of the sales cycle, increase win rates, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Contract & License Management: Oversee the management of contracts and software licenses, ensuring compliance and optimal utilization. Collaborate with IT to support system integrations and ensure the efficient allocation of resources across revenue, marketing, and business technology platforms.
- End-User Support: Oversee the timely resolution of system issues and end-user requests, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless experience for sales and marketing teams.
- Collaboration: Act as a trusted partner to Sales Enablement & Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Salesforce, Compliance, and Finance teams. Collaborate with these departments to manage system configurations and permissions, ensuring real-time insights for pipeline management, marketing performance reporting, and overall business alignment.
What you need to have:
-
Experience: 7+ years leading revenue operations, martech, or biztech systems in a SaaS or EdTech environment, with experience in both product-led and sales-led motions. At least 3-5 years of experience managing teams in a leadership capacity.
- Salesforce Expertise: Strong understanding of Salesforce and its ecosystem, with a focus on revenue operations systems. Experience with CPQ and SFCC is advantageous but should be approached in partnership with respective stakeholders in the Salesforce team.
- MarTech & BizTech: Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot), sales/support automation (Revenue.io, ChurnZero), and data enrichment tools (ZoomInfo, RingLead).
-
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor direct reports, and manage projects that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Process & Systems Thinking: Demonstrated success in streamlining processes and optimizing systems to support business goals and accelerate revenue growth.
To be successful, you'll need:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-departmental teams.
- A deep understanding of revenue operations systems and how they drive business growth for both product led and sales led sales motions.
- To thrive in a data-driven environment and excel at developing and executing strategies that streamline processes, enhance productivity, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- To possess excellent problem-solving skills and are capable of translating complex technical requirements into actionable solutions.
- To demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
