🌟 About the Role:
The Student Support Associate provides Customer Service and Administrative Support for the students while on campus as well as providing support to remote students via utilized support tools such as Intercom.
The successful candidate must be prompt, dependable and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a time-sensitive environment.
This position is required to be in the San Antonio Learning Hub. This it is not a remote position.
Scheduled Hours: ⏱ Monday-Friday, 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm CST
What You'll Be Doing:
- Front Office Reception
- Greeting students and clients creating a favorable first impression.
- Answering phones and routing calls
- Assisting students with their questions and inquiries. Document relevant conversations.
- Campus Support Services
- Assisting students with system troubleshooting for online access and course materials.
- Ensuring all classroom desks, monitors, mice, and keyboards are cleaned weekly.
- Ensuring all classroom chairs, desks, and systems are straightened and uniformed nightly.
- Ensure coffee is available for students and guests.
- Ensure the front desk, reception area, breakroom, and conference rooms are cleaned and straightened throughout the day.
- Inventory and report breakroom supplies.
- Weekly cleaning of the refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot.
- Prepare coffee and refreshments for the next opening day.
- Ensure all doors and offices are secure at the end of the day.
- Student Support Services
- Maintain active presence in Intercom.
- Moderate the start of virtual courses.
- Provide support to the rest of the team in times of overflow or absences.
- Participate in team KPI’s and events.
- Voice of the student for all departments.
- Maintain relationships with other student facing faculty and staff.
- Update Student records with current status.
- Complete daily student attendance records.
- Review and process student weekly/monthly training timesheets for funding partners.
- Prepare and process student completion certificates and training transcripts weekly.
What You'll Have:
- Possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong customer service skills are a must to ensure an outstanding end-to-end client experience.
- Good decision-making skills and the ability to work well under stress and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational skills with the ability to plan, manage and execute day-to-day office operations.
- Strong verbal and written (email and chat) communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Must represent the values of the organization: accountability, customer-focused, integrity, passion, resourcefulness, teamwork.
- Social media skills are a plus.
